| Important information about making contributions:
Contributions to the Charles A. Gonzalez Congressional
Campaign are subject to the prohibitions and limitations of the Federal
Election Campaign Act. That law prohibits contributions from corporations,
general funds of labor unions, federal contractors, minors, and foreign
nationals who are not admitted for permanent residence. All contributions
must be made from personal funds and may not be reimbursed by any
other person.
Contributions or gifts to the Charles A. Gonzalez Congressional Campaign
are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.
Federal law requires political committees to report the full name,
address, occupation and employer for each individual whose contributions
aggregate in excess of $200 in a calendar year.
An individual may give a maximum of $2,400 per election to a Federal
candidate or the candidate's campaign committee. Notice that the limit
applies separately to each election. Primaries, runoffs and general
elections are considered separate elections.
